Meridian's Annual Coats & Toy Drive:
During the month of December Meridian will be collecting used toys and coats. All donations will support student families in need during the holidays. Community members who wish to donate can bring canned food to Meridian during school hours.

In cooperation with Fannie Mae and Martha's Table, Meridian students and staff marched around Washington, DC's U Street Corridor to raise awareness and funds for the homeless.

Meridian's Annual Family Fun Night A Great Success!
The everlasting movies The Wiz and The Wizard of Oz, provided the theme for Meridian's 2009 Family Fun Night. Students were greeted by colorful display scenes from the films as they entered the lobby. A gleaming yellow brick road led participants to various activities throughout the building. Thanks to the support of Meridian's parents, students, and staff we raised over $560, which will help fund various student activities throughout the year!

Meridian's Annual Canned Food Drive:
During the month of November Meridian will be collecting canned goods. These goods will help support 20 student families in need during the holidays.Community members who wish to donate can bring canned food to Meridian during school hours. We will need to know how much food we have by Friday (11/20) because parents will be picking up their baskets on 11/23 and 11/24. Please bring perishable items to Meridian the week of 11/16 and non-perishable items can be brought in any time before 11/20.
Students are urged to donate as well. The class to collect the greatest number of cans will be rewarded with an ice cream social!
Re-Enrollment Approaching Soon
Meridian's Re-Enrollment period for the 2010-2011 school year is approaching soon! We will begin accepting applications for continuing students on December 1, 2009. For more information, please contact us at (202) 387-9830.
